ART26201 <\/strong>invites artists to submit proposals for solo and group exhibitions at the M.I.B. GALLERY in the Colonial Arts Center located at 48 East Main Street, in Downtown Buckhannon. Proposals for exhibitions may be submitted by an artist, or group of artists, at any time. ART26201 will review all submissions and respond to the applicant within 30 days. Artworks in any media may be submitted. Submissions will be judged based on overall artistic excellence, originality, technical quality, thematic depth, and ability to adequately fill the gallery space. All work must be original, of professional quality, and properly framed and wired for display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Submissions are open to artists of all ages. West Virginia artists, especially those from the Buckhannon region, will be given preference. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Exhibits are typically scheduled to run for four consecutive weekends, and ART26201 will provide event management and staff the exhibit during open hours, which are typically Fridays and Saturdays from 4-8PM. ART26201 provides promotional materials (including a press release, 11 x 17 posters, and half-sheet flyers with artist statement and biography).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ART26201 will assist in setting up the exhibit and will provide an artist reception on the opening night. Artists are expected to be present at the time of the opening of their exhibition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artists are responsible for the delivery and pick-up of works to and from the M.I.B. GALLERY. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unless ART26201 is otherwise notified at the time of submission, the Artist gives permission to ART26201 and the M.I.B. GALLERY to use any submission image selected to be included into the exhibition, on its website, social media posts, internal brochures and the press for promotional purposes only. ART26201 recognizes that the Artist maintains copyright of their images and agrees to clearly post an image credit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No insurance or security is provided and ART26201 can assume no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged artwork. By submitting proposals into this call for entry, you agree to the above terms and conditions. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
