Concept

The Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub (ARCH2) is a regional hub bringing together private industry, state and local government, academic and technology institutions, NGOs, and community organizations across the Northern Appalachian region including West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Our goal is to develop an inter-connected, full value chain H2Hub solution.

The success of ARCH2 can be regulated to achieve the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) vision of a national clean hydrogen network.

Given the tremendous interest and vast resources across our region and the need to balance the scale-up of clean hydrogen production to growing regional demand, we anticipate multiple potential pathways for participation in ARCH2.
