Hydrogen 101

Hydrogen is the most abundant chemical element, estimated to contribute 75% of the mass of the universe. It is a clean alternative to methane, also known as natural gas and contains approximately three times as much energy as oil. 

Hydrogen can be produced from a variety of resources, such as natural gas, nuclear power and renewable power, like solar and wind. Harnessing hydrogen on a large scale will give us the ability to fuel our communities. 

Hydrogen can be used to power vehicles, generate electricity, power industry and heat our homes and businesses. It is the key to a more economical and environmentally friendly future.
